David Burger is the founder and President of The Burger Concinnity Group, a Colorado-based consulting firm specializing in leadership & team development, executive coaching, and organizational transformation. David guides international climbing expeditions, does sports psychology for professional and Olympic athletes, and conducts a psychotherapy practice.

He has been a senior adjunct faculty for the Center for Creative Leadership, a faculty member in the graduate school at Regis University, Denver, a faculty member of GE’s Crotonville, and a Board of Scholars member at the Vail Leadership Institute. David is a published author, including The Interdependence Paradigm & Natural Methods of Thinking, and presents for a wide variety of audiences, such as the Economist: International CEO Round Table, Darden Graduate Business School, the Consulting Engineers Council of Colorado, Y.P.O., the American Hospital Association, American Association of Blood Banks, and the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, and the Olympic Training Center in California. David was a principal in Star Technologies, a solar design and construction firm in Aspen, Colorado, worked extensively for the Colorado Outward Bound School, a high school teacher, a teacher educator,
and a U.S. Navy Vietnam-era veteran.

David was born in Colorado, has climbed all 54 – 14,000 ft. peaks and has successfully climbed over 6,000 meters (20,000 feet), on more than 64 different peaks. In the fall of 2003, he stood on the south summit of Mt. Everest with the first team to do so in November. Dr. Burger was an avid student of Christian theology and studied Yoga both in India and in the U.S.A. David received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, working in Counseling & Consulting Psychology, Experiential Education, and Organizational Behavior. His Master’s Degree is from the same University in Education, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. His BA is from Western State College of Colorado where he completed four majors and received a Colorado Teaching Certificate.
